About the federation

The Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Volleyball (F.L.V.B.) is the Luxembourg federation in charge of Volleyball and Beachvolleyball, and consequently the direct contact in Luxembourg for all questions concerning these two disciplines.

The FLVB was founded in 1963, on the initiative of Volleyball players in gymnastics clubs. In 1951, the FLVB was integrated into the world federation, the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (F.I.V.B.).

Today, the FLVB is a member of the CEV (Confédération Européenne de Volleyball), based in Luxembourg, and of the FIVB (Fédération Internationale de Volleyball), based in Lausanne (Switzerland).
